What is one thing that you hope your child(ren) learns in school that can't be taught with a book or video?

good social skills.  You don't have to interact with a tv or book and your mom and dad will still love you no matter how bad your bahavior is.  Friends on the other hand, won't put up with you being really bratty or mean. lol

social skills , how to treat people with kindness.( TAUGHT AT HOME TOO,BUT SCHOOL IS WHERE IT'S FIRST USED IN A BIG WAY.

true compassion for mankind and what a true friend is, not someone who stabs you in the back and talks about you as soon as you walk out of the room. i try to instill these values in them at home, but i think if they see it firsthand at school being done by their friends it with reinforce these values
