Hi,

15 CafeMom members were given Pillsbury coupons to shop for free Pillsbury products that contained the Box Tops for Education logo. In return, we asked them to share how they planned to use the Box Tops to help their child's class get supplies they might need.

I also didn't get any coupons but I also save box tops and we send them in to the school.  On one of my daughters school news letters it said that they got a check for 660.00 to keep sending them in.  So I plan to keep collecting them and send the in.

I just got a message that my coupons are being mailed to me. My school does have a BTFE program, but I haven't been able to find out much about what their goals are or what exactly they are using it on. Now that I have these coupons I will find out for sure from a friend of mine who is on the PTA. I will also be more concisous of the box tops when I go shopping and when I use a box that has the box tops on them. Thanks cafemom!

I just got the e-mail that I'm going to be receiving the coupons too.  Our school does participate in the BTFE program.  Each year they have a few contests to see which class brings in the most and that class gets a party.  My kids are really into bringing them in.  Anytime we have a product with a box top on it they make sure I cut it out.  Right now i have a ton sitting in my kitchen waiting for the next contest.

I'm patiently waiting for my coupons. ;) Just got the email too.

Our school also does the BTFE program. I'll have to dig out some of our recent PTO reports. I know it's done well for us in the past and helped to finance some pretty awesome programs for the kids. I've got to get better about checking packages for the tabs. I've found them on items I sometimes don't expect to see them on!

Hi all   I got  the email too.

Yes I have  heard about  BTFE before,  I have donated mine to my friends kids.   I do most of my shopping by what has box tops on.

I like the program but there are some things I dont think is fair but like everything else  nothing is fair anymore. First the likes are: it goes to better the schools. Easy way for all parents to participate. The kids have fun collecting  them. You can also  shop through the  BTFE site  of stores that  will donate so much percent  to your school.

The dislike is when you buy from a place such as Sam's club and cereal box that has 2 bags in but you only get  1 boxtop as well as the online shopping it take for ever to show up in the schools account.

I currently am saving  boxtops for my daughters school. This year the school is collecting box top for  a sun shade for the  PE area living in Florida  it gets hot during the day. .  Laster year the the  PTA got  over  S1,000  and it went to playground  playset..

I hope they continue this program and expand the number of  products  that you can find them on.  In my eyes  what ever we can give to  the schools  will better the students for the life ahead of them.  One small step at a time.

I just recieved my message that they shipped out the coupons.

I have been saving box tops for education since I was in school. I started saving them when I moved out of my parents home at 18 and donated them to the local elem. school by my apt.

And when I had kids old enough to attend school I started keeping them to turn in to their school. My clips practiced scissor skills by clipping the box tops out. And every few months the school will hold a contest for the most collected in the class. Winner receives a giant cookie party.

I also signed up online for the BT and earned the school extra rewards that way too. And I recieved a monthly email that tells me the triple reward and double reward products hitting the shelves. And by shopping online at certain schools (books, clothes, etc.) you can earn more rewards for your child's school.

I am happy to be one of the box toppers.  Me and my kids love to save the box tops, we have gotten several family members to save them too. My sons school has earned $285 this year so far. I am hoping we can get it even higher before the end of the year. I am thrilled to be a part of this.
