Did you label all of your child(rens) school supplies?

Was this required?

The classroom supplies are shared and provided by the school, but I label anything that might get left at school and end up in the lost and found bin like backpacks, lunchboxes, coats, hats, etc.

Certain things.

Her lunch box, her bookbag, her pencil box, her binders and notebooks... those are labeled.

Her basic school supplies like crayons, pencils, erasers etc are not labeled.

We have not needed to supply any school supplies for class yet.

I used to. My family would laugh at me, using a fine-point sharpie on every crayon...

No, ours are all put into a pool at the beginning of the year and doled out by the teacher.

And, yes, we do label things like coats and lunchboxes.

I would laugh at anyone who took the time to label each individual crayon too, for goodness' sake!
