my son brian is 9 years old and he loves to take naps.He always has i think its so funny.On weekends he is usually up at 7 so i know he is just doing it cause he is wore out he plays outside from about 4 till 7:30 alomost evrey night then about twice a week he naps he is asleep right now and sometimes he will stay asleep till we get him up for school. dose anyone elese have older kids that like to nap
all three of mine(8,7,6) still take the occasional nap
No, my oldest is 9 and he quit napping at 3 and my youngest is 6 and he quit napping at 2. They are outside running around like crazy now, so it's not that they aren't active. They get between 10 and 11 hours of sleep a night. Maybe your son isn't getting enough sleep at night, I've never heard of an older child still napping.

he is asleep evreynight by 9:30 and we dont get him up for school til 6:30 so he gets at least 9 hours of sleep. Some nights he gose to bed earlier if he is real tired.
That would be it, then. My son's lights out time is 9:00 and he doesn't have to get up until 7:30, so he's most likely getting and hour to an hour and a half more sleep a night.
Lol I wish my boys would take naps.My oldest son is 6 and he hasnt taken a nap in years maybe since he was 3 even my 2 1/2 year old really doesnt take naps. He will fight you to the end about taking a nap, so we gave up and dont even attempt naps anymore. I guess I was just blessed with two crazy hyper boys with never ending energy lol ! They keep me on my toes all day long!
My daughter is the same way! My son........he will, but he doesnt like it lOL

My son has not napped since he was 2. I wish he would slow down sometimes, lol
My son never liked taking naps much. He's 10, and I'm sure it's been at least 5 years since he took a nap.
