Hecks yeah!  My oldest does this completely on his own every day.  My youngest picks out his clothes then asks me if they are OK - and they usually are.

 Daily. And they have been doing since they were 2yrs old. I buy clothing that is pretty much matchy matchy. So no issues of what they pick not looking decent.

yes, as long as it is within means. they pick out their clothes the night before and lay them out so all they gotta do is wipe off their face and hands, brush teeth, dress and go.

 Yes. I look at it this way: I buy the clothing that DD has, I have the final say in what clothing gets bought, I know that no matter how she mixes and matches her clothing that it will always be appropriate (she wont look like a street hooker or a street rat).  I stopped fighting to make her match her clothing when she was in Kinder. Some days she looks like she stepped out of a fashion Mag. other days she looks like she just came from the circus but she is still fullt clothed.

My kids are not allowed to make choice they have to wear stupid uniforms to school.

No, I pick my sons clothes. Its just another part of my control issues.

yes most of the time...I don't care they wear as long as it is clean and not torn too badly if they are going to school, if we are home I don't care if it is torn or not.
