Do you have to re-register for each school year ?

I'm just curious. If you live in the same school district do you have to re-register every year ? Do you have to provide proof of your residency each time ? My daughter is in Kindergarten so I don't know bc I've only done it once (other than preschool).

every year I have to re-register my kids too. Each year having to prove we live in the district.. and I live in sight of the school.. LOL.

Where I live you don't have to re-register unless you change school districts.

Yes, we have to do it each year. We have to provide proof of residence each year as well.

No, we don't have to every year. About 2 weeks before school ends they will send home a registration form with all their info on it & we correct anything if needed.

No, they send a letter asking if you are moving. If you are moving you have to tell them where. If everything is the same then you just toss the letter and it's all set. I won't be moving so technically he is already registered for the 5th grade next year.
