I was doing laundry and noticed my 7 year old's panties had quite a bit of dried vaginal discharge. It's not colored or anything, looks clear. She hasn't had any complaints about it and she's the type that would tell me. Is this normal? Does this mean she's gonna start her period soon?
I know that after you start your period, clear discharges are normal but I think I would at least talk to the ped about it happening to a 7 year old.

Yea we went Friday. She had a UTI. Anti biotics cleared it up. Good Luck!

My daughter is 7 yrs old too and I've started to notice discharge in her panties too. She has downs syndrome. We have an appt next week to see what's up! Did u ever go to the dr with ur daughter?
That was my first answer. Go to peds and get the answer you need.

I would mention it to her ped at her check up. Could be a yeast infection.
