I want to make DS story into a professional book for a memento..
DS and his grandpa have been taking turns writing a story together. First DS wrote a paragraph, then mailed it to Grandpa, then he'd send it back.
I think it'd be nice to have it made into a real book that I could give them both a copy of but not sure where to start.
I'd like to use their handwritten pages somehow(some pages they wrote on the back too)
Has anyone else had a story made into a book? Which company did you use? I'd like personal experiences please..I have seen a lot of companies online.
OH there is a good one that the high school teacher recommended..... shoot.... I'll have to try to remember.
I don't know about the handwritten pages though.....
Yeah the handwritten pages are what I wondered about, especially since some are double sided. I thought it'd be cute to see the story as they wrote it though, sloppy handwriting and misspellings and all :-)

I think it's a great idea. Maybe you could copy the ones on the back so that it's all in order.

You can take photos of the handwritten pages and use shutterfly to design the book however you like it. Shutterfly allows you make your own layouts (customize). That is the route I would go.
I don't know a website, but just wanted to say that this is a pretty cool idea!
Thanks! My parenbts are getting up there in years and I thought it'd be a nice keepsake for DS to remember his grandpa. Also, it gets him writing and thinking which is always a good thing.
