We've been Friends since 6th Grade. She's pretty awesome. We're alike in so many ways. We've both lost touch with pretty much everyone else from School except eachother.

I have known her since sophmore year of HS (so about 20 years).  She is the most supportive, amazing person I know.  She is busy, she is a mental health counsler for children in a closed psychiartic (spelling???) ward, which is extremly hard on her.  The stories she tells about some of the kids in there breaks my heart :(.

Unfortunately I don't have a best friend. I did, she was awesome. But with the last month of my life I have found she isn't there when I need her. She hasn't asked about Serenity, or my mom. I do however have a ton of friends, some I didn't even know I had. Life is funny like that. Its when you hit these hard times you realize who your true friends are.

There's a country song about this... You Find Out Who Your Friends Are.

Something similar happened to me. My BFF from high school has really pulled back since my diagnosis of cervical cancer. She didn't even come to see in the hospital.

I met my best friend in high school. We were like 2 peas in a pod. Always doing stuff together and being silly. When I got pregnant my senior year, she was by my side the whole time. When my ex left to live in new Orleans and ignored me after the adoption of that baby she stayed with me while I recovered and went through all the post partum issues with me. When she went to live in the dorms for college I stayed with her all the time. I was with her through the diagnosis of her moms breast cancer. But after she met her husband and had his first baby they moved up to Maryland. Her dh got a civilian job doing what he was doing in the military. We are both going to have our 4th child within a month of each other. She buried her mom while she was pregnant with her 17 month old. I couldn't imagine becoming a mom and raising my family with my mom halfway across the country then losing her totally not even having her to call for advice during 2 pregnancies. She such a strong woman.

Oh and I want to add that her oldest is 4 months older than my oldest, which according to due date they were only supposed to be 2 months apart. Our 2nd kids are 5 months apart. So 3 out of 4 kids are within 1/2 a year apart. I hate that our kids don't know each other

I am blessed with two best friends.

The first is my youngest sister. Her and I have been thru everything together and we are the closest in our whole family. I can always depend on her and she can always depend on me.

Best friend #2.. Her and I have been friends for 25 yrs. We've also been thru alot together and we're more like sisters now then just friends. I couldn't imagine my life w/o her in it.

I have 3 of those.

No seriously I do.

I have two that I have known since 1st grade. And we all have a birthday in August. One is exactly a week younger than myself. And the other is exactly a year and 6 days younger than myself.  We don't get together often because of where they live. But if I ever need them, they are just a phone call away. They have talked me though some pretty tough situations.

And my 3rd best friend just happens to be my neighbor. She is amazing. We can talk about anything, any time of the day. She will watch my kids if I need her to with a moments notice. And I will with hers. We love to go shopping together. And if I need someone to drink with me, she is there, lol.
