Anyone been to Build A Bear? PIC HEAVY

Has anyone been before? we took the kids for Valentines yesterday, and it was so much fun!!! it turned out to be a perfect acivity that both my toddler and school age child loved! they pick their bear or other critter, and then stuff it, give it a bath, pick out clothes, shoes, and other accessories for it (optional) and then fill out a birth certificate with the name you chose, they also put a tag inside the bear, so if it ever gets lost, someone that finds it can bring it in to any Build A Bear and they scan it, find the owner and send it back! I highly recommend :) though it was a bit expensive :/

Anyway just wanted to share some picks of our trip there yesterday :)

We've been many times.  My boys loved it a lot when they were younger, but haven't asked to go in over a year now.  One of each of their "friends" has 2 hearts in them a piece.  The lady had them each make a wish on a heart for each animal.  That was really sweet.  Too bad I forget which ones have 2 hearts. lol

Several yrs ago, I treated my sister to a trip there for her b-day. You get some weird looks when 2 grown women go do that w/o any kids along, but we had fun!

Sometime when we're feeling richer, I'd like to take the kids.

My son has 2 of them. I made one for him when I was still pregnant with him. He is 11, so that tells you how long they have been around. lol. He also made one when he was about 5.

Yup.  We had DD's 5th birthday party there.  It was fun.

We've taken ds several times. Dh & I made him a bear the first time we took him to the mall. (1st family outing other than to the pediatrician). Ds has made about 6 of them.

I still have a koala from 11 years ago. Dh made it for me for Sweetest Day the year we were engaged.

I took my DD when we went on a roadtrip....it was part of the whole excitement.  She loved it and now wants to go again and again.  I'm so glad we don't live near any because they are expensive and she has way too many stuffed animals already...lol

We took our two not to long ago! My oldest got the smurph to and our little one got a hello kitty one they loved it!!
