How often do you use them in your meals?
Flavored rices and pastas?Boxed potatoes?
We often do as a side item. I don't have an issue with salt, and so to be honest, I never really noticed the amount of sodium in them.
We use only fresh or frozen veggies, never canned, and if we cook them, we add a little butter while cooking instead of at the end.
I'm a coupon shopper so I will get the rice or potato packages when I can basically get them for free. I keep them on hand for when I need a quick side dish. We use Kraft mac and cheese pretty often.
Flavored rice and pasta maybe once or twice a year if they come on sale.Boxed potatoes never.
I actually just bought a box of waffle mix for the weekend. It was on sale for $1 and it took me about 5 minutes of contemplating before I actually decided to get it. lol I'm still not 100% sure I'm going to use it. lol
Flavored rice, here and there, but other wise not too often.
Pasta- yes only because I'm incredibly lazy to make my own... Boxed potatoes? Gross.
