Need advice on Bankruptcy or foreclosure

Okay so when I hubby got divorced a long time ago they had a house together she was suppose to take it over in to her name but didn't and NOW it is going to to foreclosure on all of us. So we came up with a great plan we need to be in Florida anyway the house is the right size for our family if we are going to take hit to our credit like that we might as well do it with  a house. So we thought we would clain Chapter 13 bankruptcy and keep the house. Any advice anyone go through chapter 13 anyone anything lol

It won't go into foreclosure on you unless you are on the loan.... are you? I wouldn't claim bankrupcty for that, his credit wont take too big of a hit and it only stays on his credit report for less then a bankruptcy. if he has great credit I wouldn't go for it. It's easier to explain the foreclosure. If you are gonna keep the house then keep it, work with the lender.
