I do the grilling most times!
I grill wild alaskan salmon on parchment paper with herbs, burgers, hot dogs, and some steaks

I don't use the grill. I make the food and he grills it.

 We both bbq but even dh admits I'm better at NOT burning the food. Our family fave is spare ribs, slow cooked for hours, can hardly pick them up without the bones dropping out, then coated in yummy beer-sauce and grilled to finger-lickin' goodness.

I am the grill/smoke master.  My signature entree is beef brisket smoked for 15 hours...omg so good!

I have wanted a good grill for a very long time and just recently bought one and I got it Monday and I am doing quite well on it.  I have made chicken cutlets, asparagus, hamburgers and hot doggies so far.  Everything has come out AMAZING!!

BTW, my husband passed away November last year so I can't answer your first question.
