What do you do with too many stuffed animals in your house?
My daughter just turned 6 and she was given money for her birthday from a few relatives. She bought several stuffed animals. Whenever she gets her hands on money, she buys stuffed animals. When her friends asked what to get her for her birthday, she said "stuffed animals." I really dislike stuffed animals because they don't have much entertainment value and are virtually impossible to give away, and certainly can't be sold at consignment or anything. So to me, they seem like such a waste of resources since they barely get played with by the first child, and have no real potential for passing them on to another child. We were already overflowing with stuffed animals, and now it is even more over the top.
So...what do you do with all of your stuffed animals? Do you try to keep more from coming in the house? Would you have let your daughter buy more stuffed animals with her own birthday money, knowing the house is overflowing with them already?
