(why yes Kandice - I stole the title from you!!)

Which do you like the SOUND of better, your maiden name or your married name (if applicable)?

If you are not married, do you think you'd like to change your name if you ever DO get married?

I hated my maiden name - - still do.

Would have changed it to just about anything!

I like my last name. Never been married so it's all I have ever known. It's easy and simple and no one ever mispronounces it.

I would change it if I ever get married but that would take a lot of getting use to.

I love the sound of my married name. It means I'm his girl. :)

that's nice - but not quite the INTENT of the question.

Forget what it "means" to have a married name - what about the sound of the two names.........

My maiden name was much easier to say, spell and only 4 letters. My married name is 10 letters and people always want to say and spell it wrong. But I'm used to my married name now.

Oh I do joke how the only reason I married him was because he had the coolest last name. I met him at work. He was boss and saw his name on his tag John Jason. I commented on how cool it was but at the time never thought it would be my name. My maiden name isn't spelled how its pronounced and much longer. I like the sound of his name

I like my married name better than my maiden name, but I wish my married name wasn't so common.

Maiden for sure. It was a nice friendly name that everyone could spell and pronounce.

My married name sounds as friendly as Nurse Cratchet. The kids are terrified of my now. So I like my married name much better. LOL

My maiden name was 11 letter, hard to spell, and impossible to pronounce.  My married name is very simple and almost impossible to misspell.  I'll take my married name any day of the week!  I've been married so long now, too, that my maiden name sounds foreign to me.
