My 6 year old son attends a summer camp and I am to make his lunch daily. They ask that we make "healthy" lunches, which I have no problems with, but he gets so bored with yogurt, carrots, grapes... Does any one have any fun as possible lunch ideas to mix it up a little bit???

How about a turkey or vegi wrap? Pita chips? Pretzels? My kids will eat just about any fruit offered, blueberries, kiwi & blackberries are favorites right now. Or sliced cucumbers.. mine have recently discovered they love raw asparagus w/ vegi dip. Take him to the produce section or farmers market & let him pick..... dried fruits are also a hit.

I think letting him pick his own fruits and veggies is a great idea! Some things I put in my dds' lunches are string cheese, "ants on a log", or pita chips with hummus.
