Barbies and dolls and similar things were on my wish list, now my 5 and 6 yr old's are wanting iPods and cell phones and computers. Arghh!!!

My kids are the same way... I like to think that we're finally getting our point across though, my son asked for a skateboard for his birthday (which he got) and dd wants a bike "and my pincess hemit" (princess helmet) lol

My son has asked for an ipad...not sure if he even  understands what that is. However for his birthday he is asking for spiderman toys, so thank goodness I get to have him innocent a little longer.

My kids know what it is, my 8yo nephew has one that my sister won at her job, and for my dds 8th bday I gave her my old iPhone without service. The only reason I got a new phone was because of cm influencer program. So my 5yo goes, I wish I had an iPod for my birthday. More than likely dh will get a new phone by the time my 7yo turns 8 so she will get his old one.

LOL! I know! Having a barbie for me I thought was like the ultimate gift. I dont' even remember watching TV when I was that age. I was just either outside playing with bugs, coloring or playing with barbies, dolls and stuffed animals!

Yep he's at the local Yankee Candle in the Santa Shop. They have Santa year round. This time of year he wears Hawaiian shirts ;)

When I was 5 and 6 I wanted hotwheels, 4 wheeler, pony, and Hello kitties lol  I already had a minibike by time I was 4.
