they made us go camping - for REAL

as in prep your own campsite, dig a hole for the toilet, bring your own water. I was maybe 13 years old and it was the most miserable week of my life.

this one time at summer camp...... I ate so many smores I got sooooo sick. Couldn't eat a marshmellow for 15 years!

I went to Girl Scout camp but only in cabins. I also went to church camp also in cabins.

Had to go to summer camp with a cast on my arm up past my elbow. Broke my wrist in two places two days before and still had to go.

This one time at summer camp I woke up to see a HUGE wolf spider inches from my face I screamed so loud I woke the whole came up.

I went to church camp every summer. This one time walking up the hill to vespers, the girl in front of me stopped suddenly cause she said her knee was hurting. They didn't make us do it, but two of the guys and i carried her up the hill to services and back down. Ended up, she dislocated her knee cap to the point that she could spin it all the way around her leg. We were around 12 at the time

This one time at summer camp the older girls told a ghost story about a headless man that haunted the nearby woods. The younger girls ( myself included) were scared to death to go to bed. The councelors made a "headless" man come out of the woods in the middle of the night making an awful noise. Scared the pants off of all of campers, including the smug older girls. Priceless!
