Does your child have a monogrammed backpack, notebook, or some other type of school supply?

You can say yes, no or bump... or if you feel strongly about not having your child's name on his/ her backpack I would like to hear about that to.

My boys have LLBean backpacks. My 10 year old has his initials on his backpack, my 7 year old has his name on his backpack. My oldest (14) and youngest (4) sons do not have anything on their backpacks.

They don't, but I wouldn't be opposed to it. My oldest daughter got a set of pencils with her name on them from her teacher for Christmas last year. She did it for the entire class. It was pretty cool.

We monogram backpacks with intials and last year I ordered enough pencils with their names to last 3 years

We dont but the inside of her coat/jacket, lunch box, and backpack will have her name in them as well as teacher she has this year.  It helps the office cut down on lost and found alot.  Somehow last year dd, who was in kindergarten, her lunch pack ended up in a 2nd grade class bucket LOL.  I am going to label the inside of her backpack so strangers cant yell her name if she happens to have it on outside of school.  Now i have to find the right type of label.

My kids' lunchboxes are all monogrammed with their names. Their backpacks aren't.

She has pencils with her name on them, but that's it. I'm not opposed to it though.

I don't mind monograms but I don't allow names on backpacks or shirts where it can be seen.

That's why we stick to intials. Our school is extremly high security but I still take extra precaution.

Oh and its high security because its a great school and doesn't want to become a bad one. Only 470 kids for prek-10th grade. They go to a good school.
