Whats The Difference Between The Informal Meet And Greet At Orientation For Kindergarten/School And The Formal Open House Which Is Scheduled For September...???
At our school the orientation is more to see and get a "feel" for the classroom, briefly meet the teacher, and fill out paperwork. On Back to School Night the teachers from each grade give a presentation about the curriculum, where resources are located online, class rules/discipline, etc.
I imagine it's different in different schools, though (how's that for the generic answer LOL... but true!)
How I would look at it is that an informal meet and greet doesn't really have an agenda but more of a "get to know you" kinda thing whereas the formal open house is more structured.

Thank You For Replying,That Makes Sense actually...
This is how it is at our school.
