Are you tired?
Are the kids tired?
And - if you're not - can you send some energy my way please?
I'm exhausted. My heart hurts for my new niece right now. She's not even a week old yet. She was 5 weeks early, and has had a few minor issues, slight jaundice and low temperature. She's had to be in an incubator for a few days. Her parents will not go see her while she is in the incubator. They said it's too heartbreaking. What's heartbreaking to me is that they won't even go see their own child. She needs them right now and all they are thinking about is themselves. My in-laws have been there for every feeding, since they won't go see her. There's not anything I can do about it, and I know that, but that still doesn't make my heart hurt any less for her. I couldn't sleep last night, thinking about her being up there all alone in the hospital. They sent her mother home yesterday, and she left as soon as the paper was signed and didn't look back.
I am tired. Sorry, Rora, no extra energy to share.
I worked until 10pm and couldn't fall asleep until almost 1am. I have to be back at work at 9am.
DS1 is up and wide awake as always. DS2 is still asleep and I won't see him before I leave. DD isn't home as always.
I am not tired. The kids actually woke up before me and I got up at 6:30!! I have no idea why they are getting up so early. I am drinking some coffee to get my head on straight lol
