For after school care?

For spring/winter break?

For summer break?

its enough to make me wanna just stay at home!!!!  Its rediculous to be honest (just read my other post LOL).

We are hoping to avoid it, but I don't know how my DH is able to watch him during the breaks that we have.  I don't have all of those times off either.

The school offers after school care. However currently, I have a family member picking her up since I have been working late. (It is the busy time of the year for us right now. Ends 09/30/12).

During winter break, I normally take 2 weeks off to coincide with her winter break. If not, the YMCA has holiday camp.

I'm a SAHM, but for kids whose parents work often the park districts will offer camp over spring break. Some parents work out something with SAHparents and pay them to watch their kids during the day, or schedule vacation time during days off.

I take the kids to school in the morning, and DH picks them up in the afternoon (he works 5:00am-1:00pm).  I'm fortunate in that I work from home, so I can go get them if they come home sick or something.

However, even though I work from home, I take Fall, Spring and Winter breaks off so that I'm with them full time without worrying about work.

During the summer, my oldest babysits.  I pay him - and I'm still in the house so he's not totally alone - but it works well for him to babysit and keep everyone entertained.  He's 13 and started this last summer.  Before that, my mom would come up and help out.

My kids are in SACC (school aged child care) and that is held at the elementary school they attend. Spring/winter break they will stay with my SO's mom who does daycare. Summer I will have some weeks planned with camp others with SO's mom...

I am a school teacher so my schedule pretty much coincides with the daycare.  If my schedule conflicts in any way, I have my dad and sister to help out.  It is rare that I have to ask them.

Ah, you're a better woman that me, because I have little patience for other people's kids, LOL! My kids' friends, etc, are fine, but I could never handle working in a daycare or doing a home daycare.

It gets a bit crazy sometimes but I enjoy staying home with my kids.

In the past I have worked at home for a CPA firm.  My boys would be home with me when I was working and it was never a problem.  For some odd reason, I was able to do my work and they were able to entertain themselves for a few hours without interrupting me.  IDK, maybe I'm just lucky or talented, not sure which.

I am a SAHM most of the time. And when I am working, hubby was usually off work. Or we had a friend watch the kids when our schedule conflicted with one another.

when I get a job, my son would go into the before/after school program. In the summer there's a free program for kids in school from 9-3, and I also have my in laws to fall back on
