The 3 I remember from elem. school are one to the zoo, one to a Keebler factory, and one to the state capital building, all when I lived in CO.

Oh! And Fort McHenry when I lived in MD- it's not every field trip you get to take a ferry across the Inner Harbor of Baltimore : )

I think it was going by train to Strawberry Square in Harrisburg when I was in 5th grade. I liked going to Zoo America in Hershey, too- I think that was 1st grade.

The one I remember most was when I was in 2nd grade in Minnesota.  It had been warm all week so on the day of the field trip all the kids showed up in t-shirts and capris.  But the weather turned cold and snowy before we even left the school.  The teachers were allowed to go home and change but us kids had to tough it out.  I don't remember where we visited.  All I remember is chattering teeth!

I loved all our field trips in elementary school, we always went to Canada.  One year we went to Quebec City, another to Campbellton NB on the coast.  We went to this reenactment town from the 1800's another year.
