How do you pay for school lunches? Does your school have a computer system with a pin or can the kids carry cash?

We qualify for free lunch, but if we didn't it would be up to us parents to place money in the accounts.

both. Mine have a card that is scaned to see if they have money on there account or the can pay cash. since mine are 4 and 5 years old I just put money on there card. If DD wants some thing extra she can use her *good girl* money. (she gets 25 cents every day she brings home a 5 on her chart. IE she didn't get into trouble)

We don't pay. Last school year they sent home a notice saying they are now providing free breakfast and lunch to all students.

I have no idea, I've only ever packed lunches and never looked into it.

All our students have a school id card. It is their version of an debit card. They can also pay in cash.
We put money in their accounts online and the kids put their lunch number in the keypad and it comes up

I pay online. DS has a student number, and he uses that to access the account.
