It's Wonderful Weirdos Day!
Who is a Weirdo in your life?
It's also Grandparent's Day!
How often do your kids get to see their grandparents?
I guess if you're grandparents are weird then today is a REALLY big day!
I many weirdos. Some are related to me, some work with me, some are my kids... I love them all. Like would be super boring without weirdos!
Hey, I had the first reply in both your posts!
Isn't there a prize for that?
I have one friend named Katie who is a wonderful weirdo in my life. I wouldn't want her any other way! I just love her to pieces just the way she is!
My kids get to see their grandparents quite frequently. We live about 2 miles from my parents, a mile from FIL, and maybe 4 miles from MIL.
That's a great prize!
Quoting Cindy18:Your prize is being one of my favorite CM friends!!
Isn't that enough for you?

My hubby is my weirdo. Lol.
My kids get to see my parents once a week. Paternal grandparents? Not so much. They live out of state.
Quoting Cindy18:I have many weirdos. Lots of them are my best friends. I think weirdos make the best friends!!
My kids don't see their grandparents much at all. They live in Florida and we are in Michigan.
I think I'm considered the weirdo out of my friends. It works well for me.
The grandparents day thing made me cry. My grandmother passed away yesterday. :( We hadn't visited her since her 100th birthday in February, even though she only lived 5 mintues from us. She had dementia and vistors upset her. My kids see my parents a few times a week usually. They see my mother-in-law a few times a month on D&D night (she plays with them). They only see my father-in-law every 4 years or so. He hates Alaska, but we can't afford for all of us to fly to Hawaii. I'm just fine with not seeing that mean old man ever.
