Would you, or have you named your son what most people might consider a "girl" name? Some examples are Tracy, Shannon, Lindsey and Hilary.

What annoys me more is people are starting to use my husbands name - Micah - as a girls name.

Yep love the book and movie. I read the book for the first time the summer after 5th grade. I read all 1200+ pages in like 2-3 days lol. So good

My older DD is a 'Kennedy'. I spelled it Kenadi. It can be for either sex, but I tried to make it more 'girly'....& I was 19, I thought the spelling was awesome haha. My boys have names that have always been boy names as far as I know. Korben & Konner.

Jamie Spears....

Quoting LucyHarper:

No. In my town, thats like naming your daughter Robert.

Quoting Kaybean:

You've never heard of Jamie for a girl?!

Quoting LucyHarper:

Jamie's a girls name? I've only ever heard it on boys, and I know a lot of Jamie's, its a nickname for James.

Quoting Kaybean:

I think Jamie is okay for a boy, but not the ones you listed.

No, my sons name is Nathan. I would not consider a girls name for my son.

No I wouldn't. My cousin named his boy Shannon. I ironically worked with 2 guys named Britt, and I never even knew it was a boy name. Lol

Yeah I've met guys with those names too. Only one Courtney though.

Quoting Xynyth:

I've known men by the names of Ashley, Courtney, and Kelly. All named for family.

No my son's name is Charles Hunter. My DD1 is named Dallas, and she gets mistaken as a boy when I make appointments for her or talk to her SSI caseworker and such.

All the names you mentioned were originally boy names.  There's also Rene, Leslie (my dh's middle name!), Ashley, Avery, etc...

I wanted to name my son Ashley after my sister and since my dh is English (in the UK Ashley is still very much a boy's name) I thought he would go for it, but he said no!
