my talkative son and how to teach him to socialize correctly

My son loves to talk but it literally breaks my heart when he tells me that kids told him to leave them alone or go away.eventhough I tell him maybe you should play by urself when they tell u dat...he tells me but I want to play with him or but i want to say hi to him...he said hi to dis lol boy n da boy ignored him...he just started kindergarten but I can imagine he does it there.I'm not sure how to explain to him without making it seem like he shouldn't talk to anyone..it makes me so sad to think dat kids won't give him a chance..I don't have much friends myself like 2 or 3..anybody give me sum advice..

I would get him more involved with community events and teach him to introduce himself to the students in his class.  DD loves to play and interact with everyone as well.  I explained that not everyone is that friendly and they may prefer the friend they have known longer.
