Yes of course! Dd does that often..lol.. I have her keep on sandals too just because ppl fish here and I dont want her stepping on hooks.

Yes, and mud! Last weekend ds2 was covered head to toe in mud.. fully clothed, thank god for playclothes!

 I would've let them while on vacation this summer if we didn't still have a couple hrs to spend sitting in the Suburban before heading back to the campsite- I didn't want to listen to them whine about sitting in wet clothes for that long.

Yep! Shoes off. In fact by the time they were done. They were just in undies and t-shirts. I would play in mud holes after it rained when I was little.

Ive done that, at the beach though. When we lived in the city and had to walk everywhere, no matter the weather, I would have them make a contest over who can make a bigger splash jumping in rain puddles!
