AR (accelerated reading) app on the Ipad

Has anyone tried this app on your Ipad? My school uses AR and the kids have access Ipads in their classroom. Just wondering if kids can log in from home using an Ipad to take quizzes on the books they read.

(I don't have an Ipad, but am thinking of getting one. Does it make a difference if you buy it at say, Best Buy versus the Apple store?)

My kids just use books, but hey

So does EVERYONE that uses AR. It's a test after they have read the BOOK.

And on the AR site, not sure about the app, you can do a search for a level appropriate book for your child and the number of AR Points it is worth. Sometimes teachers give the students a reading goal.  http://www.arbookfind.com/

My child does take comprehension and vocabulary tests on the school's computers and Ipads at school. If they pass the test 70 percent and above, they get the AR points. If not, the teacher asks them to reread the book or choose a book with a lesser reading level. Not passing means they are not comprehending what they are reading.
