Do you have an embarrasing or interesting story to share that happened during daylight savings time? Stories from previous years, or this one.

No nothing embarrassing or interesting. I did go into work an hour early (on Monday) two years ago but that is not really interesting or embarrassing.

Back in 1995, when hubby and I were first married.  He went into work on Sunday morning an hour early and didn't realize it until he was at work for awhile and realized that a lot of people who were supposed to be there weren't yet.  I didn't realize it until he got home from work and told me.

Every year he reminds me to change the clocks on Saturday night so that he isn't early for work again. lol

2 years ago we went on a mini vacation over daylight savings weekend. We completely forgot that it was that time. The kids woke up around 530 am and wouldn't go back to sleep, so at 6 we went down for the continental breakfast. The attendant looked at us all crazy and this is the conversation that went on...

 Attendent: It's not ready yet

my DF: Why? It's supposed to start at 6.

Attendant (with a WTF look): It's 5 am.

 DF: No, it's 6 am.

 Attendant: It's daylight savings.

Us: Oh....We'll be back in an hour then.

Yeah, that was a bit embarrassing. lol

My first year teaching, the principal invited my family to his church.  I totally forgot about the time change and got the kids up and ready and got there and was an hour early!

I just cant stand the time changing. They should stop doing it once and for all.
