Craft ideas for a broken book

A very old Dr. Suess book is broken.  I believe it's Green Eggs and Ham.  The hardbook cover came off and the pages are coming out.

I hate throwing away books anways but since this is a Dr. Suess book....I'm looking for ideas on types of crafts I can do with it.  When I have time, I will look on etsy and pinterest but wanted to see if any of you had ideas first.

My mother used to sew the pages back together with dental floss and then reattach the cover with glue along the spine.

We actually have the same book but newer.  Someone gave it to the girls not knowing we had one already.  So, I'd like to use the cover and maybe the pages to do something creative with it but I'm a little tired and can't think.

I haven't done this, but it looked cool...there is a way to fold the pages to make a christmas tree out of a magazine...maybe that would work with the book if you take the cover off?  http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/how-to-make-a-magazine-christm-72467

How about taking the pages and making some magnets...

Here’s what you need:

1 ruined book

1 (or more) packages of bubble magnets

Modge Podge (you can buy it at the craft store or make your own using equal parts Elmer’s and water)

Scissors or a 1″ paper punch

Craft glue or a hot glue gun

Here’s what you do:

The process is very simple.  I picked up a couple packages of bubble magnets at Staples for about $1.99 each.  You can get the clear plastic bubbles at the craft store, but they’re way more expensive and don’t include the magnets!

Turn the cover into a cute clock, but do the numbers all silly like Dr. Seuss would.
