Yes on the rare occasion that it snows enough to get clean snow, my mom makes snow ice cream for us. She always did it for me and my brother when we were kids and now she does it for my kids.

I was always told to not eat the 1st snow, but we love to make snow ice cream. The kids love eating snow for some reason.

As long as it's not yellow or dirty, why not?

Yep! My kids rarely, almost never get sick. 8 and 9, pukey, ONCE! We don't freak over dirt. Maybe that helps?! Lol

No, plus it's not something he would ever want to do.

I don't freak over dirt either, but where I live deer, turkey, racoon, etc go to the bathroom in our yard.  I would prefer for my child to never eat feces, but that is just me.  lol

For those of you worried about fecal matter, why not put out a bowl or something to collect snow in? Problem solved.

We don't really get snow here in South Georgia.
