I was suprised about this as well. I thought all schools were out for Christmas Break.

No, and I have never heard of a school being in session between Christmas and the New Year. It simply isn't done here and I honestly don't have FB friends that live in other countries, I personally know all of my FB friends.

We homeschool and do lessons between holidays but none of the public schools do.

They are out til the 9th here. It's crazy. They got out the 21st.

I know schools that went a few days. Our state was hit had with hurricane. We have days to make up. They had no where else to make up those days from.
Our district is down four days, and they voted to take them from spring break and not Xmas break.
