Ha! Did I inspire you to ask this?

There are lots of things that I know how to make homemade but don't do it often:
Pie crust
Noodles
Dumplings

I make the following homemade often:
Sourdough bread
Creamer
Sausage gravy
Goodies

the only thing I can think of is taco seasoning (I actually modified it from a recipe I found on pinterest):

1 tbsp. chili powder

1/4 tsp. onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, cayanne

1 tsp. seasoned salt or 1/2 tsp. of paprika, salt, and pepper

1 1/2 tsp. cumin

this is good for 1-1 1/2 lbs of meat (chicken or beef) if making more I just don't level off my spoons.

Everything. I will pull a favorite recipe later I know you'll like.

I can make anything homemade as long as there is a recipe.

B/c the cake is smaller, I make dd's and ds2's b-day cakes from scratch. (Their b-days are 4 days apart, so we need small cakes!)  I got the recipe from a kids' cookbook ds1 got from the library when he was about 4 y/o.

Chocolate Cake:

1/2 c. butter or margarine

1 1/4 c. sugar

1 1/4 c. flour

6 Tbsp cocoa powder

2 eggs

1/2 c. milk

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

Combine butter and sugar in a large bowl.

In another bowl, mix flour, salt, baking soda, and cocoa.

In a small bowl, mix eggs and milk.

Add egg/milk mixture to the butter/sugar mix.

Add vanilla.

Add flour mixture slowly. Mix well.

Pour into greased 7-8" round cake pan.

Bake at 350* for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
