My dd is...She is 8 and has to be 50 inches , and she is only 46
Yes, dd 7 and 4' and 48lbs is in a lbb and ds 4.5 and 43.5" and 44 lbs is in a hbb. Their torso's are both too long for harnesses.
My youngest is 12. I took mine out of a booster seat as soon as it was legal to do so.
Well my oldest is only 6 so of course he is still in a booster seat lol. He will be until at least a minimum of 8 yrs old. And then he will only come out of it if the seatbelt fits him 100% correctly, otherwise he will stay in one until it does. My 5 yr old is still in a harnessed carseat and my 3 1/2 yr old is still rearfacing. The same rules will apply with them for the booster seat, although they will probably be in it longer than my son because they are built much smaller, especially my youngest.
Yes, my dd is in a high back booster.
She's still harnessed because of her weight. She will be moving to a booster soon.
My 5 year old is still harnessed but I really can't see her even in a booster at 8, much less out of it.
