It's Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Do you like these little critters? Do you feed them in the winter?

No and no. My neighbor feeds them sometimes. Squirrels almost come right up to him. Freaks me out!

No, I don't feed them.  I'm not a squirrel fan, since last year one busted my screen window, came INTO my kitchen. Then knocked everything down IN my kitchen, got into my cabinets and pooped.  It took us over 45 minutes to get him out, it was a mess. Ugh.

Oh no. We do not feed them. That whole thing about "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" thing holds true with these critters...lol

We don't feed them since we have a walnut tree in our yard they collect those. But we love watching them running along the trees and jumping from tree to tree.

NO, I do not feed them.  They are wild animals and have the ability to take care of themselves without the help of humans.  Once humans start interfereing, that is when problems start like them coming into your house.  Where I live there are a multitude of wild critters in my backyard, I don't feed or house any of them intentionally and I don't try to kill any of them either.  They all serve a purpose, even the bats that I absolutely hate.

I throw out stale bread, cookies and such for birds but they eat it too.
