I am making "chore sticks" for the kids.. and running out of chore ideas. Any suggestions? Looking for small things that take just a few minutes..

1 mom liked this
Sweeping floors. Dusting what they can reach. Letting dog in/out. If you have one. Feeding animals. Disinfecting door knobs and other common places that are touched.

how old are the kids? My son takes care of "his stuff" he takes the dirty clothes to the washer, he brings up the baskets, seperates them and takes his to his room to fold an put away. He is also in charge of putting clean dished away and cleaning his room. Anything that is "his" is his responcibility. He will also help sometimes with the little boxes, or taking the trash out. (the little cans, like bath room living room etc) When hes in trouble he has to match socks. LOL I hate doing that. My son is a HUGE help when it comes to doing stuff around the house! good luck

Write a list of what you usually do to clean the house daily. Then choose from the list. Also write what you do weekly and monthly. Make a few of those sticks in a different stick color. Add those in when it is near time to be done. It changes it up a bit. Also add in a few fun chore sticks. Such as swap chore with sibling, give chore to mom/dad, pick 1 more chore, free day- no chores, pass on one chore, etc.
