depending on the situation, cant say if i would or wouldnt... BUT i dont see anything wrong with it...i think a big part of the problem with our society today is a lack of discipline.  maybe the kid needs a taste of his own medicine.  i would say this shouldnt be the first thing you turn to.

No, I don't like humiliation punishments. There would be another punishment, though.

My best friends little boy is getting beat up weekly...I wish the bully's parents would make him do this, maybe he'd think twice before picking on a defenseless kid

Humiliation isn't an appropriate approach and can foster the development of bullying behavior.

If it kept happening after trying other punishments, I absolutely would.

For certain things, yes. If you can't be proud of your actions...don't do them.

Good for this mom.  Because you know the other mom's in her neighborhood are judging the hell out of her.  She clearly loves her son and wants the best for him.  She knows he has good inside and this will help him realize that the world needs to see the good inside him too.  I hope this child learns his lesson and doesn't end up in military school.  Actions have consequences and it is the duty of parents to make their children aware of this.

To each their own. If nothing else has worked for the child. But I don't think I would go to this extreme type of punishment. I would try all other options before this.
