What is your non-medicine remedy for a cough for a nine year old?

For both day and night?
My DD just got over the flu, but has a cough that stays with you. What do you do to ease your child's cough?
I've done honey, also, honey lemon and warm water, tea, water, & juice.

 Vick's makes a vapor plug-in. I've used it w/ ds1 when he's had a bad lingering cough.

We do the waterless plug ins as well.  DD will not take cough medicine so the plug in is our only option.  It usually will knock out a stubborn cough within 3 days.

I would give ginger tea with honey and lemon in the same cup... as hot as she can stand it.

Lemon tea with honey, and at bedtime, Vick's VapoRub on the bottoms of the feet with socks and a little bit on the chest

I use Activate-C which is all natural. My 6 year old loves it and it is a great immune booster.

Nothing, I just let it run its course.

Put a thick layer of Vicks on the bottom of his feet and cover with socks at night! It really helps!
