My favorite Baby Shower gift was diapers. I got so many and they lasted for about 6 months.

My sling. I never would have bought it myself and dont think I would have tried to had I not had it laying there when I was out of hands. Its the only baby gear thing I kept.

When pregnant w/ ds1, one of dh's friends and his wife did give us a pack 'n' play- that thing was a life-saver!

IDK, it has been too many years since I've been to a baby shower. I'd ask the ladies in the babies group or toddlers group as that would be more current for them.

Hmmm, my girlfriend created a scrapbook for me where all of the attendees wrote a note to me and the baby :). There are many awesome, funny and heartening quotes in there :).
