What would you think if this happened at your child's school?
A small school. 30 certified staff members. 14 teachers and a principal all resigned or retired in 2012. Two of them stating that the environment of the administration as the reason. One teacher calling it rancid. Plus just a few months back a teacher was fired for supposedly hitting a disabled child. Then a month ago the current principal got in trouble for tweeting. Calling someone gay and even tweeting a child in a play works the pole just like her mom. He was not fired just disciplined for those tweets. This is not my children's school.
All info above is from local news. Not just something I heard people say.
I wouldn't jump to pull my children out without knowing what's going on.
The new superintendent may be a no bull type of guy/lady. So he may not take the excuses from teachers who want to slack off. Once you get tenure, It's really hard to fire a teacher. So he/she may just be giving them a push towards the door.
