Your kids doing anything fun to celebrate???? Dd's school is celebrating all week...
We've had green day, scientist day, crazy hair, hat day & somethings going on Friday I just can't remember what right now.
They are celebrating here too :).
As you know from my post, they are doing a Green Eggs and Ham project tomorrow with real eggs and ham :).
They had a green eggs and ham breakfast that was sponsored by BEACHES resort . That was for the 1st graders only and they got a fun hat. The school is holding a dr seuss night in march as well. Our library is also having a birthday party for dr seuss the day before dd's birthday.
Monday was crazy mixed socks day. Tuesday was crazy hat day. Today, all the classes are decorating their door with a Dr. Suess theme (the principal will pick a winner). I can't remember what tomorrow's is. Friday is a "reading party".
This week is the NEA's Read Across America Week. The week typically is the last week of February/first week of March to coincide with Theordore Seuss Geisel's birthday on March 2.
Many schools across the country celebrate this week with crazy dress days, scavenger hunts, and celebrities coming into the school to read books.
they have green day, pj day, hat day, wacky clothing day, and jogging day (sweatsuit and sneakers)
