My favorite book from when I was younger was Heidi. I read this book over and over again. I have not read it to my boys yet. My son doesn't have a favorite book but he loves scary stories.
My favorite book was The giving tree. I have read it toy kids, and they both gave a copy.
DD is 10 and said her favorite is The Silver Bowl.
Quoting endurablemist:
Yes, she us reading Predator or Prey as I am typing this.

We read to our little guy. He is sick with a fever.
I have many favorite books growing up and you bet they have the opportunity to read them. When they were little I read to them but once they learned to read, they would read to me. My oldest one reads them herself and then we talk about the story afterward. A nice bonding experience.
One is reading My side of the mountain for a school book report and my other son is reading Survior for a book report
I had so many favorite books! The Black Stallion (then the series), all the Hardy Boys, Just Right, The Man WHo Lost His Head...I have read some of them to them and am getting ready to read The Tower Treasure and The Black Stallioin. I love all books, so it's hard to narrow down. I have read The Man Who Lost His Head many times, because it was my youngest's favorite book forever. We actually have two copies now because it was so special to her and we thought we lost one!
His favorites are Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Captain Underpants.
I had many favorite books. But the one that pops out are books by Judy Blume books.
No, I haven't read it to her.
She has a lot of favorite books.
