I love that despite all dd's delays and lack of social skills she was able to find a best friend to hang out with on weekends outside of school.   DD is the one in khaki pants.  Her friend is in her class 2 years in a row now so they have gotten very close.  This just shows the growth spurt my dd had and what is in store for her friend.

That is so great that she has a good friend.  I was very worried about my oldest son when he started school, he is an aspie.  Luckily he has 3 very close friends and they've been good friends for quite a few years now.

Yes.  I even told dd's IEP team how this particular friend was able to bring dd back to "earth" when she started getting to hyper.

So cute! My dd is the one who keeps growing tall too. Lol her bestie is our neighbors dd, who is one mos older than dd. this is the 1st year they haven't been in class together. My dd has handled it better than her bestie. Her bestie sits at the lunch table with her class, but turns towards my dd's classes' table. And, they are stuck like glue at recess. Lol
