This is a brag my 5 year old daughter has always had a speech problem we have seen speech therapist and they were stumped they said it had to be medical. We went to the Dr a month ago and she said all looked normal but if i wanted to she would recommend us to a ENT specialist. We went 3 Weeks ago and he had said her tonsils were huge so he wanted to remove her tonsils and andeoids. We had them removed yesterday and he said that between the 2 it was causing massive obstruction that's why she was a mouth breather, snorer, woke up several times a night and speech. today she had told this little girl my name is Kira. Just about made me cry it is the first thing she had ever said that was very clear to understand. then tonight she whispered in my ear mommy i can talk now. i am so proud of her and very emotional lol

That's fantastic. Ds 9 is graduating speech this year after 7 years. It's an amazing feeling.
