It's International Children's Book Day..
What is your favorite Children's book? What is your kid's favorite book?
My favorite is Little House on Prairie by Laura Ingralls Wilder
My son is Diary of Wimpy Kids
My favorite childhood book is Where The Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein. My 21yr olds favorite was Where the Wild Things Are. My 19 yr olds favorite was Harold and the Purple Crayon and my 8yr olds favorite is The Hungry Catepiller.
I love The Hungry Caterpillar and Oh, the Places You'll Go!, and The Sneetches. Ds loves (still) any of the Mercer Meyer books, and any Dr. Seuss.
I don't have a favorite. My son likes Dr Seuss books.
ALL books are my favorite :-) We were just talking about the books that parts are still stuck in our heads from reading them so often...not that we don't like them, just that our kiddos are 12 and 9 but we still remember parts of the books...lol
Caps for Sale, GoodNight Moon, Toes are to Tickle, HoneyBunny Funny Bunny, Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in the Hat....all of these have bits that are permanently stuck in our brains...lol
btw, it's also World Autism Awareness day (or World Autism Acceptance day - for those on the spectrum and their caregivers)
