This year Take Your Child to Work Day will be Thursday April 25th.

Do you plan on taking your child(ren) with you to work? Have you taken your

child(ren) with you to work in the past on Take Your Child to Work Day?

Never got to do so...I worked until my oldest (now 9) was 2.

And I don't see them going to work with daddy...he goes at 7pm and leaves at 7am. LOL..

No I wont. Where we work isn't a safe place for kids.

I work from home, so, nope.

DH works in a production area where "guests" are not allowed. Plus he leaves at O'Dark Thirty. So, no there too.

I work in a school and when my boys don't have school, I don't have to go to work. Our county has a "Professional Development Day" every year on Take Your Child to Work Day. The teachers work, but no school for the kids.

My boys might be able to go to work with grandma or grandad this year.

I don't work and DH can't have kids where he works, it is too dangerous.

1 mom liked this
When I worked in corporate real estate we did a huge event on TYCTWD.

We did a PowerPoint of how the company worked. Some of the people would come in and talk to the kids about what education they needed to get their jobs, we would do a tour of all the departments and talk about what each group did then ask each kid to draw or write 1 page about their dream job (anything even outside the office) and then we would make them a bound book of the PowerPoint and all the kid's pages for them to take home.

We would also do sack lunches and take them downtown to Pershing Square where they had stuff for the kids to do.
