Body parts flying everywhere, heads taken off by books

This is what I overheard one of my DS classmates telling him about the Boston bombs...Now from my other post you know that I told my son about it...feel better about it now since he responded "Yes some lost their legs but no one was decapatated by books."

 So many topics are so much better coming from the parents first! Good first hand example of why! I'm glad your son was able to let the other kid know the facts.

It's amazing what the kids come up with when they talk about stuff like that.

 This is a prime example as to why you should talk to your kids about events like this.  I realize that it is a difficult and scary subject, however, you really don't want to have to deal with the fall out of them hearing it from kids at school.

 Thats why I did talk to him about it...I want these things coming from me...
