Teacher is posting pics of my son on FB...

My son has come home a couple of times and said his teacher had taken taken a pic of him and put it on FB with the caption of "cutest face ever" or "beautiful eyes". He also said she didn't do this for any other students. He's in 5th. Does this sound strange?

I would have to see the pictures and then talk to the teacher about it.

I would clarify with the teacher BEFORE forming an opinion.

That is definately not allowed at my childrens school. I don't allow people to post pictures of my kids online in general, especially not a teacher without my permission.

If your son has the right information I would be concerned.

It does sound odd, but it also sounds like something to clarify with the teacher.  I probably would clarify it even if I don't care just to find out why she'd do that.

My younger childs daycare teacher has been doing this. He's 2. I'm gonna have to talk to her about it. I don't like there being pictures of my kids out there like that.
