Elementary School Kids Elementary School Kids

totally gross question...

I have days where I am just thanking God for the kids I have, how well behaved they are, and how smart they are....... however...... today is not one of those days.

I moved my daughter's bed today after it had not been moved in years and my son used to sleep in that bed as well.  What I found on the wall.......... *GAG*

How in the world can I get petrified boogers off the wall without taking the paint off?  Magic erasers are not helping unless there is a certain cleaner I can use with it, the mr clean I have isn't working!  There is no telling how long those things have been there.

Try soaking with a multi purpose cleaner and then using a scratchy part of a sponge to get off.

1 mom liked this

Can't you just scrape them off with a razor blade?  Sorry, but boogers aren't something to be grossed out over, especially when you have kids.  I painted my bedroom walls with my own poop when I was a toddler.

My husband said try spraying them with water to soften them back up a little... then maybe scrape at them with something

I think I have some comet.. might have to do some digging for a regular sponge though.. thanks!  I Just don't want to mess up the paint too bad, my dad owns this house and he's kind of anal about it.

This is a toughy! Ok Swiffer mop, the solution will get anything literally gum off my floors, try that , kinda pricy if you don't have one, otherise, scrape and paint over is what I would suggest.

Try bug spray...I know it sounds really strange...but I've seen it work on odd things.  tough red stains and other things on walls.

I found this online

In a nutshell - to get dried boogers off the wall:
1) get a handfull of toilet paper and get it wet
2) tear off a little piece of wet tp and cover the booger
3) wait 10 - 20 minutes depending on thickness of the booger
4) easily wipe it off
